I worked as a research assistant at the corporate law firm Hengeler Mueller in Frankfurt, focusing on mergers and acquisitions and corporate law.
My Time at Michigan Law
Why I Chose Michigan Law
I chose Michigan Law not only because of its excellent academic reputation, but also because of the small size of the LLM program. After speaking with alumni who all had very positive experiences, I felt that Michigan would be a great fit. I was also excited about the strong sports culture and the atmosphere of a true college town.
What Makes Michigan Law Special
As an LLM student, I especially appreciate that we take classes together with JD students, which makes it easy to become fully integrated into the Law School community.

The Best Things About Ann Arbor
Ann Arbor is the perfect college town. It is very walkable, yet offers many cultural and social opportunities you would normally find only in a larger city. It is also home to the Big House, the largest stadium in the United States, which makes the game day atmosphere unforgettable.
If I Could Time Travel, I Would Give Myself This Advice at the Start of My LLM Year
Buy not only football season tickets, but also basketball season tickets.
