My Time at Michigan Law

Why I Chose Michigan Law

I was drawn to Michigan Law’s academic excellence and its criminal defense offerings. When I learned about all the ways I could be involved in pro bono at Michigan Law, I knew I was in the right place. I was attracted to the idea of living in an American university town, as I believed this environment would encourage my involvement in school activities without the potential distractions of a big city.

The Most Difficult Thing About the LLM Year

Striking a balance between school work and preparing for job applications and interviews.

What Surprised Me Most About Michigan Law

The support from professors was invaluable. They were open to discussing my research ideas, career paths, and course materials during office hours.

What Makes Michigan Law Special

The friendly environment among students, exceptional support from professors, and a great group of public interest students. Having meaningful connections with professors and students has been a significant aspect of my LLM experience.
