Class-Year Reunions
Every fall, Michigan Law hosts classes celebrating milestone anniversaries in the Quad: 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, and 50 years. We also welcome back all emeritus alumni celebrating 51 or more years since graduation.
The 2025 Reunion will take place September 5–7, 2025, and celebrate alumni who graduated in years ending in 0 or 5, as well as emeritus alumni. Registration will open in May, but in the meantime we encourage celebrants to save the date and book accommodations on the Reunion website.
European Alumni Reunion
Michigan Law’s next European Alumni Reunion will take place 11–13 July 2025 in Berlin. Although the event is organized with Europe-based alumni in mind, the Reunion is open to all Michigan Law graduates as well as those who have visited the Law Quad as research scholars, faculty, and lecturers, or who are otherwise friends of the Law School.
The Reunion will include substantive panel discussions on leading issues in European and US law as well as social gatherings, and will be a chance to reconnect with classmates, colleagues, and friends.
Registration for the European Alumni Reunion will open at the end of March—in the meantime, we encourage you to save the date and make plans to join the Michigan Law community for this special event in Berlin.
Black Alumni Reunion
Michigan Law’s next Black Alumni Reunion will be held March 20–22, 2026, in Ann Arbor. The event will coincide with the annual Butch Carpenter Scholarship Gala, hosted by the Black Law Students Association, as well as Preview Weekend for admitted students. Registration will open in early 2026, but we encourage alumni to save the date and make plans to return to Ann Arbor.
The Black Alumni Reunion, which was formerly known as the African American Alumni Reunion and is held every three years, is an opportunity for alumni to connect with current students, attend and participate in panels and other programming, bond with fellow Michigan Law graduates, and support the recruitment, matriculation, and success of Black students at Michigan Law. The Reunions are open to all Michigan Law alumni registrants and their guests.
More information about events and programming for the 2026 Reunion will be available at a later date. In the meantime, you can review the 2023 program to get a sense for the type of social and substantive programming that takes place during Black Alumni Reunions. We hope to see you in 2026!
Alumni Service Day
Michigan Law’s Alumni Service Day is an annual event for alumni to serve their local communities and connect with fellow Michigan Law graduates in their area.
Local volunteers partner with community organizations to take on a project that can make a difference in a single day, such as planting a community garden, sorting food for a food bank, and other initiatives.
