“The greatest night of my professional life”

Upon seeing Julian Mortenson give a comradely slap to the toochis of faculty ringer and former Fab 5 member Jimmy King at the annual student-faculty basketball game, the Admissions Office’s newish assistant director — an ’05 grad who had several interesting jobs before working at the law school — turned to me and said, “This is the greatest night of my professional life.”  Who could argue with that?

My big concern now is how we will handle the sudden surge in interest in tax and insurance law that is bound to result from Kyle Logue’s sealing the fame that resulted from his star turn as Taylor Swift lip syncher nonpareil in this year’s Mr. Wolverine contest with his mad basketball skillz, his floppy hair reminiscent of a scholarly Pistol Pete.
