What Sets Me Apart
Most of my classmates spent time with each other and explored the city, but I had to save my free time for my family (especially my son!).
My Time at Michigan Law
Why I Chose Michigan Law
Because of its reputation and faculty. It has a wide range of courses offered by world-renowned professors.
My Favorite Class
It’s really difficult to choose only one, but I found Alternative Dispute Resolution by Professor Allyn Kantor to be the most engaging and practical. There are a lot of reading materials, but practice simulations and group work make the class enjoyable. I learned how to persuade the other party in negotiations and how to settle a dispute between two parties as an effective mediator.
The Best Thing About Michigan Law
Having so many people who think about and care for you. The professors are always there to answer any questions you have, whether inside or outside of class. Administrative staff are supportive and work with you to provide instant solutions.
The Best Thing About Ann Arbor
I like everything: the natural beauty, parks, restaurants, and museums.
What Surprised Me Most About Michigan Law
I had no idea that professors would be so cordial and easily accessible. You get the chance to have lunch or dinner with them and visit their homes.
