Teresa M. Sebastian, a lecturer at Michigan Law, is the founder, president, and CEO of The Dominion Asset Group, a firm primarily investing in urban real estate and commercial ventures.

She currently serves on the Board of Directors of The AES Corporation, Kaiser Aluminum Corporation, and Terminix Global Holdings Co. Previously, she served as senior vice president, general counsel, chief compliance officer, and secretary for Darden Restaurants Inc.; vice president, general counsel, and corporate secretary for Veyance Technologies Inc.; senior vice president and general counsel for Information Resources Inc.; assistant general counsel for DTE Energy Company; senior corporate counsel at CMS Energy; and associate attorney at Sommers Schwartz.

Earlier, she was a financial specialist at Michigan Consolidated Gas Co., an account executive at Morgan Stanley, and a market analyst at Bank of America.

Sebastian is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, National Association of Corporate Directors, and WomenCorporateDirectors Foundation. She is currently a board member of the United Negro College Fund and the Nashville Symphony Orchestra, and a member of U-M’s College of Literature, Science, and the Arts Dean’s Advisory Council.
