All forms of financial aid are disbursed in more than one disbursement.  Typically, each of your financial aid sources is available by the first day of classes of each semester for which you are enrolled.  After that, financial aid disbursements occur every Thursday morning, and are credited to the student account. Any living-expense funds, in excess of tuition, fees, and on-campus housing, are disbursed to your personal bank account (if you have set up direct deposit) by the following Saturday or Monday. Financial aid disbursement cannot occur more than a few days before the beginning of each semester.

For the Fall 2022 semester, the first disbursement to pay your tuition will occur on August 20, with your living-expense funds being direct deposited to your account on or after August 25. The first day of classes is August 29.

For the Winter 2023 semester, the first disbursement to pay your tuition will occur on January 4, with your living-expense funds being direct deposited to your account on or after January 8. The first day of classes is January 11​.

To set up direct deposit, go to Wolverine Access under Student Business > Payroll & Compensation > Direct Deposit. If you do not sign up for direct deposit, your refund check will be mailed to the permanent address that is listed on Wolverine Access. It is imperative that you keep your address updated, so that any excess funds are mailed to the correct address. You may change your address on Wolverine Access under Student Business > Campus Personal Information > Addresses. Please update your address at least two weeks before any disbursement is expected.
