As a writer on the Law School’s communications team, Sharon Morioka crafts content to position the school as a preeminent center of research, teaching, and engagement.

Sharon works with faculty, students, alumni, and staff to tell their stories—ranging from the announcement of a recently published book to the nature of general counsel careers and anything in between—in a compelling way for readers of Law Quadrangle magazine and the school’s website.

She brings extensive editorial experience after serving for 15 years as the editor of Michigan Alum magazine and newsletters at the Alumni Association of the University of Michigan. There, she oversaw all aspects of the publications, including content development—working with writers to connect U-M alumni to the university and fellow alumni.

A “double Wolverine,” Sharon enjoys all aspects of telling U-M stories, from brainstorming ideas to polishing the final piece.
