Before joining the Law School in 2008, Laura worked in events and public relations at Michigan Medicine for the Department of Pediatrics. Prior to that, she lived in San Francisco and managed events for a mutual fund company. Laura is an alumna of Eastern Michigan University with a BS in public relations and is a certified meeting professional (CMP) through the Events Industry Council. A proud born-and-bred Ann Arborite and self-described townie, Laura lives in her childhood home with her daughter and furry family members where they park cars for Michigan home football games.
