Lara and her team oversee the creation and management of programs, services, and events that connect alumni back to the Law School and to one another, wherever they may reside. 

Prior to joining Michigan Law, Lara worked at the Los Angeles Times and the Center for Strategic and International Studies, managing content and constituents for high-profile engagement programs and outreach. Originally from Southern California, Lara holds a master’s degree in international communication from American University in Washington, D.C., and is a proud alumna of the University of San Diego.
