Ladewski previously taught in the clinical program at American University, Washington College of Law, where she taught a clinical seminar, supervised student attorneys in live-client case work, and designed and taught a course in employment and labor law.
Ladewski’s law practice focuses on civil rights and consumer litigation. She served as a trial attorney at the US Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division, the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia, and other government agencies. She first-chaired two trials, including winning a jury trial in federal district court. She participated in record-breaking litigation including United States v. City of New York, United States v. County of Los Angeles, and District of Columbia v. Daro.
Previously, Ladewski clerked for a judge on the US Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. She was also a US Fulbright Fellow in Chile.
