Hayley Berlin, ’10, is an adjunct clinical assistant professor at the University of Michigan Law School and a partner at Ashurst Perkins Coie LLP. She teaches research and analysis in American law. 

Berlin represents online platforms and technology companies on issues involving data privacy and security, digital search and seizure, online speech, and child safety. She has substantial experience advising on and litigating Fourth Amendment, First Amendment, and other constitutional and statutory issues arising at the intersection of cloud-based consumer services and government surveillance.

Berlin maintains an active pro bono practice, including in the areas of juvenile justice and parole, prisoner civil rights, and child advocacy.
