Beth Chen advises LLM and JD students on all aspects of career planning, particularly in relation to employment in the private sector, as well as students and alumni interested in postgraduate judicial clerkships.

Before joining the Office of Career Planning, Beth practiced antitrust law with a focus on regulatory notification requirements in New York and Washington, DC. She practiced at the law firms Clifford Chance, Weil Gotshal, and Sidley Austin, and served on diversity and hiring committees. Beth earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Michigan and her JD from Columbia Law School. She is also a certified life coach.
