The Organization of Public Interest Students (OPIS) and OCP’s The Valiant present TA1LS: Stories of Coming to Law School. On Wednesday, October 28, the Michigan Law public interest community will come together for an evening of storytelling and community-building. Hosted by Professor Steinberg in his backyard, the night will feature brave 1L volunteer storytellers who will each share their story of what brought them to law school. 1Ls in attendance will have the opportunity to mingle with other public interest students from their class and invited professors, faculty, and staff. Light refreshments and drinks will be served.
This event will take place entirely outdoors and student attendance will be limited to the first 70 students who RSVP in the Symplicity workshop. You must have a confirmed RSVP in order to attend. Attendees will receive an email with the address before the event. OPIS is also arranging carpools for the event so if you’re interested in requesting a ride, please email [email protected].
