Join the Student Rights Project for a screening of the film “Lies Closed This School” by Brent Palmer! The film is a documentary which follows a student, mother, teacher, and activist as they navigate the systematic takeover and closure of several of Detroit’s public schools. We’ll have a panel Q&A with several of the people followed in the film, which will be moderated by Professor Mike Steinberg. This is a great event for anyone interested in education and civil rights!
