Each month the MDefenders group comes together to talk and learn about subjects particular to public defenders. Please join us for our October meeting to discuss defense issues related to prosecutions of pregnancy, parenting, and queer identity with special guest Professor Valena Beety, an innocence litigator discussing her new book Pink Crime: Fighting the Criminalization of Motherhood, Pregnancy, and Queer Identity.
