Many politically progressive students arrive at law school expecting to work hard, learn the law, pass the bar exam, and pursue a career in which they can use their legal skills to further social justice. But many 1Ls find themselves intimidated and overwhelmed, or are pressured to abandon or postpone their public interest goals. To help all law students overcome these systemic obstacles, the National Lawyers Guild at Michigan Law is organizing a series of events called DisOrientation. Come join us to learn how to use law in service of the people!
