Professional Responsibility and Ethics This seminar will focus on the professional and ethical responsibilities of
lawyers, but will also examine the rules governing other actors in the legal system, including judges, arbitrators, and mediators. Topics will include confidentiality, conflict of interest, privilege, fiduciary duties, judicial bias, and extra-judicial activities. Students will be expected to make presentations during class, and a final paper will also be required.
