An advanced examination of national antitrust policy under the Sherman, Federal Trade Commission, and Clayton Acts. It will include mergers, the Robinson-Patman Act, and antitrust exemptions, which are not covered in depth in the basic course. There will be particular emphasis on procedural developments peculiar to antitrust. The course will also examine some of the fundamental literature in the antitrust field.
