Registration Information
Registration for the Black Alumni Reunion is now open and will close Tuesday, March 3, 2026. You will have the opportunity to purchase tickets for the Butch Carpenter Scholarship Gala during the registration process. We will not offer walk-in registration during this event.
You and your guest(s) will receive a name tag and schedule of events upon your arrival in Ann Arbor.
Hotel Information
The Law School has negotiated a block of rooms at a discounted rate at The Vanguard Ann Arbor and the Sheraton Ann Arbor from Thursday, March 19, until Monday, March 23. To book at the reduced rate, make a reservation online by using the links on this page or contact the hotel directly and identify yourself as a member of the Michigan Law Black Alumni Reunion. Please note: The online booking link will default to show all four nights of the discounted block, so be sure to only book your desired dates.
The Friday evening welcome event will be held at the Vanguard Hotel, and the Butch Carpenter Memorial Scholarship Gala will take place at the Sheraton on Saturday.
