Mary and her team work with alumni and friends who wish to make large-scale commitments of financial support to Michigan Law.

Previously, Mary was the executive director of Habitat for Humanity of Kent County, Michigan, the largest of 70 Habitat affiliates in the state. She holds a BFA in painting and sculpture from Calvin University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Prior to her career in nonprofit development, Mary built and designed custom homes and residential communities in West Michigan. Mary and her husband, also a builder, enjoy partnering on residential construction projects to improve blighted properties and revitalize neighborhoods in their community. Mary and her husband live in Saline, Michigan, and have two adult children.
