Professor Sussman has served at Equal Justice Works for more than a decade, vastly expanding the size and impact of the Equal Justice Works Fellowship program. She previously worked as a litigation associate in the Washington, D.C., office of Latham & Watkins LLP from 2007 to 2011, where her practice focused on antitrust litigation. Professor Sussman also helped manage the firm’s pro bono program, assisting Holocaust survivors in applying for reparations from Germany.
Her previous public interest experience includes serving as program assistant at the International Senior Lawyers Project and as a summer intern at the Human Rights Law Network in Delhi, India. She serves on the boards of the Washington Council of Lawyers and the Anti-Defamation League, and on the Washington Lawyers’ Committee of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.
