This workshop is based on a new course that teaches law students problem-solving skills they can then use to approach the “wicked problem” of designing a fulfilling path for their own lives. This workshop will help alumni apply these problem-solving skills to their own professional and personal circumstances, with the aim of breaking the cycle of overwork and imbalance that can lead to burnout and exhaustion among lawyers. Participants will utilize skills such as values defining, reframing, prototyping, and visioning to consider how they might maximize their success and happiness in life—whatever that looks like for each individual. With Professor Bridgette Carr, ’02 and Professor Vivek Sankaran, ’01.
