This crash course is focused specifically on preparing students who are interested in applying to firms for their 1L summer. We will cover the basic elements of the application (including diversity/professional statements), application timelines, provide insights into what firms are looking for when making hiring decisions, and provide guidance on how to use the semester to make yourself the strongest possible candidate when it comes time to apply.
This will be mostly duplicative of the optional program held on the Friday during orientation week.
