Join the Michigan Law ACS Student Chapter for a lunch talk about neurolaw with Professor Francis Shen. Professor Shen (JD/PhD, neuroscience) is a jointly appointed professor at Harvard Law and Harvard Medical School. He is a pioneer in the growing field of neurolaw, which deals with regulation of developing neurotechnology and also inquires into how neuroscientific findings can inform legal research and advocacy. Of particular importance in the field is what neuroscience can teach us about criminal law, such as juror psychology and criminal mental states. Professor Shen will be presenting about some of his recent work. Lunch provided by ACS.
