Black Americans are more likely to experience poorer quality healthcare and worse health outcomes than non-minority groups. This can be due to a number of factors, including differences in access to healthcare, cultural and linguistic barriers, and bias and discrimination within the healthcare system. The event will highlight the experiences of Black Americans and how racial disparities in health may have been exacerbated during the pandemic.
