This class will examine the legal and historical regulation of reproductive rights and justice. It will cover the many fields that constrain reproductive decisionmaking, and critically interrogate why and how we regulate reproductive autonomy in the ways we do. Readings will involve a mix of cases, law review articles, and other scholarship, and students should be prepared to engage with all of the materials.
